FileCatalyst to Attend Avid Connect and NAB 2018 in Las Vegas

Ottawa, ON – FileCatalyst, an Emmy® award winning pioneer in managed file transfers and a world-leading accelerated file transfer solution, has announced that they will be exhibiting once again at Avid Connect from April 6-8 and the 2018 NAB Show (booth SL11516) from April 9-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

FileCatalyst will be showcasing all of the latest advancements, as well as new consumption-based licensing models, they have added to their suite of accelerated file transfer solutions. Some of the new additions include:

  • FileCatalyst Workflow v5.0 has a newly updated UI and new features including a revamped templating system with grouping abilities, new template themes, an improved onboarding experience, upgraded API capabilities and new admin pages that provide a dashboard like interface with key metrics and transaction history available at a glance.
  • FileCatalyst Direct v3.7.2, which has also received UI updates, introduces new HTML administration capabilities, a simple HTTP uploader, a priority bump feature, smart bandwidth distribution, and reverse proxy features.
  • New consumption-based billing will be available via a “per hour” model on several public cloud platforms, as well as a “per GB” model, which can be deployed on-premise or on any public cloud.
  • FileCatalyst Direct is now compatible with Google Cloud Storage and Oracle Cloud Storage, providing high speed file transfers to either platform.

Chris Bailey will also be speaking at the Broadcast Engineering and Information Technology Conference (BEITC) on Saturday, April 7th at 1:30 PM in LVCC N260-B. He will be co-presenting a case study entitled, “How NBC Olympics Enabled an At-Home Production Workflow for the 2018 Winter Games,” along with Matthew Green, Senior Digital Media Engineer for NBC Sports and Olympics.

Elton Carneiro, FileCatalyst’s Director – Strategic Partnerships & Cloud Services, will be speaking at the Cinnafilm booth (SL11510) on Monday, April 9th at 2 PM, and the Cloudian booth (SL6321) on Wednesday, April 11th at 2 PM during the NAB Show. Elton will be discussing challenges, strategies and best practices concerning cloud storage.

FileCatalyst has also established a number of new ISV partnerships, including new integrations with LiveU, Wasabi, Cinnafilm, Backblaze, Clippn, and Glookcast.

FileCatalyst is also announcing a number of new channel partners including A&A Systems (Pakistan), Onset Systems Engineering Ltd. (Israel), ViaCloud (Netherlands), Ríos y Compañía S.p.A. (Chile), Bilgipark (Turkey), and Silicon Computers (Hungary).
