Ottawa, ON – FileCatalyst, an Emmy® award-winning pioneer in managed file transfers and a world leading accelerated file transfer solution, has announced a new channel partnership with A&A Systems.

Founded in 1998, A&A Systems is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan with service offerings that include consultancy, system design, supply, training, and post-sale support. Their focus includes satellite TV stations, Outside Broadcasting (OB) and Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) vans, production and post-production houses, as well as graphics and animation houses. Some of their major clients include The Pakistan Television Corporation, Express Media Group, Hum Television network, Ary Digital, Channel92, and GEO TV.

A&A Systems will actively promote, market, sell, and support the FileCatalyst product family (FileCatalyst Direct, FileCatalyst Workflow, and FileCatalyst Central) to their current and future clients in the region.

FileCatalyst Direct, FileCatalyst’s flagship solution, is a suite of client and server applications that accelerates point-to-point file transfers to achieve maximum line speeds regardless of a file’s size or the distance it must travel. FileCatalyst Workflow is a browser-based solution that simplifies file exchange and boosts productivity by streamlining submission, distribution, and file sharing workflows. FileCatalyst Central is a web-based application used to monitor an organization’s FileCatalyst deployment.

“Across the many elements of a digital workflow, clients are challenged with ingestion, distribution, and the ability to collaborate on large files or datasets, efficiently,” said Alan Atkinson, Vice President of Business Development & Marketing for FileCatalyst. “A&A System’s customers are no different, and this partnership with A&A Systems will give us an opportunity to have our solutions showcased to their clients at every stage.”

“The complexities our customers face is staggering. From ‘parking’ the content, formatting it for various forms of playout, to properly archiving it for future reuse, moving data is always a top challenge,” said Mudasser Abbasi, Director, Partner for A&A Systems, “It will be a relief to our clients knowing that we can provide a solution that takes the hardships out of moving content.”
