Next week, we’ll be sending a team to San Francisco for the JavaOne conference. We’ll be at booth #117.
This is a first for us, and exciting for a few reasons:
– Unlike some other shows, where our primary objective is marketing our product, the main reason for us to be at JavaOne is to network with other Java developers.
– We are looking forward to furthering our education by attending seminars and taking advantage of other learning opportunities. JavaOne provides a unique opportunity to do so.
– We have already checked out some of the other exhibitors’ offerings, and there might be something that can help US.
We have been a Java shop since almost a decade ago when Unlimi-Tech Software was founded. Of course the FileCatalyst development team tries to keep their knowledge of Java current, but internet and books are one thing (er, two things!), and participating in a community of developers who use Java on a daily basis is another.
If you’re going to be at the show and would like to talk about either file transfer or just Java development in general, swing by!
