Unlimi-Tech Software, Inc., an Emmy® award winning pioneer in managed file transfers and the creator of FileCatalyst, a world leading accelerated file transfer solution, is pleased to announce they will be attending the NAB Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center from April 18 to 21, 2016. This will be Unlimi-Tech’s tenth consecutive NAB show and will be showcasing their patented accelerated file transfer solutions in booth SL10716.

With over 1700 exhibitors and 26,000 attendees, the NAB Show is the world’s largest video, audio, and broadcast event serving the digital media and entertainment industries. Attendees representing every sector of the industry including Broadcast, Digital Media, Film, Entertainment, Telecom, Post-Production, Academia, Houses of Worship, Advertising, Military, Government, Retail, Security, Sports, Live Events, Online Video, IT, Virtual and Augmented Reality and more converge in Las Vegas to embrace the immersive experiences reshaping the new reality of media.

The Unlimi-Tech team will be providing demonstrations of their latest product releases of FileCatalyst Direct, FileCatalyst Workflow as well as a sneak peek at FileCatalyst Central.

FileCatalyst Direct is a suite of client and server applications that enables point to point accelerated file transfers at speeds of up to 10 Gbps. Utilizing the FileCatalyst UDP-based file transfer technology, FileCatalyst Direct is immune to the effects of packet loss and latency on a network. It can quickly deliver files of any size or format between cities, countries, and even continents.

FileCatalyst Workflow is web portal for all your file transfer needs. It simplifies file exchange and boosts productivity by streamlining submission, distribution, and file sharing workflows on the web. By integrating directly into your corporate infrastructure, FileCatalyst Workflow makes receiving files easy by acting as an online file submission inbox for anyone outside of your network submitting files into your organizational workflows. FileCatalyst Workflow also turns file distribution via email into a simple task by enabling users to securely send files to any email address.

FileCatalyst Central is a web application used to monitor an organization’s entire FileCatalyst deployment. View ongoing transfers in real time, dig into transaction histories, and manage or monitor alarms.

In addition to showcasing the FileCatalyst portfolio of accelerated file transfer solutions, the FileCatalyst booth will offer a live demonstration of an end-to-end workflow solution, which will show how live event production can benefit from accelerated file transfer technology by demonstrating how easy it is to have remote teams collaborate on live footage.

FileCatalyst continues to grow their partner ecosystem as well as two integrations which has garnered much interest is the FileCatalyst Delivery Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro CC and the FileCatalyst Avid Interplay Delivery Accelerator Plugin.

FileCatalyst Delivery Plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro CC allows for the distribution of the large media assets to an email address.

The new FileCatalyst Avid Interplay Delivery Accelerator plugin is designed to allow seamless delivery of files across multiple distributed Avid systems over the WAN, a process can be time consuming with other Avid Delivery plugins. Avid users can simply select a destination to send to, and the file will be sent at the maximum possible speed using the patented FileCatalyst USP based Technology.

In addition, Chris Bailey, co-founder of Unlimi-Tech, will be delivering a speech titled “4k and Beyond: Issues of Large File Sizes for Broadcasters”, highlighting the new Broadcast Workflow workspace, on Monday April 18th at 11:00 am (#S 227). He will also be speaking at the EMC booth (#SL 9605), on Wednesday April 20th at 2:30 pm about the integrated value of a FileCatalyst and EMC Isilon solution. He will be available for Q&A immediately following both presentations. Elton Carneiro, Integration & Channel Manager, will be at the Scality booth (#SL 10695) on Monday and Tuesday at 1:00 pm to speak about the integration of FileCatalyst’s high-performance accelerated file transfer solutions and the Scality RING limitless video storage platform.

FileCatalyst is among a handful of vendors who are working with the AMWA-EBU FIMS (Framework for Interoperable Media Services) Task Force. FIMS is a framework of service definitions for implementing media related operations using a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach. Media companies deploying this framework can expect that doing so will promote interoperability and reusability of services. Elton Carneiro will be presenting “Issues of large file sizes for Broadcasters and the benefits of FIMS” at the AMWA-EBU FIMS booth SU16312 on Monday April 18th at noon.

Avid Connect 2016, the second annual event of the Avid Customer Association (ACA) will be held April 16-17 at the Wynn Las Vegas. If you are attending, please visit with FileCatalyst at kiosk #19 to learn more about our exciting integrated file transfer solution for the Avid® MediaCentral Platform. The integration of the FileCatalyst acceleration technology with Avid’s production asset management solutions streamlines multi-site workflows by enabling editors and producers to easily transfer media, sequences, and shot lists between Interplay workgroups directly from within Avid Media Composer.

Lastly, one lucky person will have their name drawn from our daily raffle for a RoxBox™ Duet Portable Bluetooth Speaker, so we encourage all NAB visitors to visit FileCatalyst (SL10716) and to drop off their business cards for a chance to win.
