SC (formerly Supercomputing), the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage and Analysis, is the annual conference established in 1988 by the Association for Computing Machinery and the IEEE Computer Society. In 2016, about 11,000 people participated overall. The not-for-profit conference is run by a committee of approximately 600 volunteers who spend roughly three years organizing each conference.
